Behind the design

For her logo, I translated the emotional aspect – especially in the context of weddings – into a handwritten font. Personal, vibrant, and as individual as she is I decided for a very charismatic font for her name, it´s also perfect for headlines on her website and printing documents. This is complemented by a clean, minimal sans serif font  for what she does. That lends balance and structure to the design.

The monogram consists of her initials and is also designed like a stylized heart and an ampersand. I was inspired by the thought that kept coming back to me during the design process: „There‘s always an &“ The logo perfectly reflects this feeling: emotional, subtle, and very meaningful.

The colors are inspired by

• connection in nature, like leaves on a branch - light green 
• kindness - warm beige
• and a light cloudy heaven getting unlighted after a storm - light grey
• white for weddings

All of these colors are standing for happiness and hope.

I also designed two pattern designs

• her initial sign 
• floral elements

The result is a finely tuned, personal brand that perfectly represents Franzi. And one that we are both incredibly proud of.
